1. Hand block Cotton

• Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.
• Do not soak for more than 10 minutes.
• Expect slight colour bleed in the first couple of washes (a mark of authentic hand block printing).
• Avoid scrubbing or wringing.
• Line dry in shade; direct sunlight may fade natural dyes.
• Iron on reverse side at medium heat.

2. Khadi

• Gentle hand wash in cold water.
• Mild, natural soap is best (avoid strong detergents).
• Do not wring — gently squeeze water out.
• Dry flat or hang in shade.
• Iron when slightly damp for a crisp look.
• Khadi softens with every wash — this is its natural beauty.

3. Linen & Linen Cotton   

• Dry clean recommended for the first wash.
• Afterwards, hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water.
• Use mild detergent.
• Never tumble dry — linen shrinks with heat.
• Line dry in shade; expect natural creases.
• Steam iron for best finish.
• Store folded, not hung, to prevent stretching.

4. Organic Cotton

• Hand wash or machine wash on delicate setting.
• Cold water only; use eco-friendly detergent.
• Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
• Shade dry flat to maintain garment shape.
• Warm iron on reverse side.
• Over time, organic cotton becomes softer with use.

5. Silks

• Strictly dry clean only.
• Never wash at home; water may damage silk fibers.
• Store in breathable muslin/cotton bags, never in plastic.
• Refold every few months to prevent permanent creases.
• Keep away from moisture and sunlight.
• Place moth-repellent sachets (natural neem/lavender) in storage.

6. Embroidered

• Dry clean for heavily embroidered pieces.
• For light embroidery: hand wash gently in cold water.
• Do not rub or scrub embroidery.
• Lay flat to dry; never hang when wet as embroidery may pull fabric.
• Iron on reverse side with a thin cloth as a barrier.

7. Everyday Cotton

• hand wash or machine wash (gentle cycle).
• Cold water, mild detergent.
• Wash with similar colours.
• Shade dry; avoid dryer.
• Warm iron on reverse.
